Juliet Robertson British

Artist's statement; These paintings were inspired by the many walks I have taken during the past 30 years whilst living and painting in the lovely Sussex countryside.  Along the bold open Downs and across the clay-filled fields of the Weald, trying to catch the mood of the seasons as they change.

I spent my early childhood in Africa where my love of colour and my fascination with landscape began.  However it took me several years to appreciate the subtle colours and beauty of the English seasons, especially winter!
