It is inevitable that in life we will encounter difficult and sometimes dangerous situations and people…Pirates in fact!
At times we will prevail and at others perhaps not. But what is key is the knowledge and experience we gain, our instincts are sharpened, we learn to listen to ourselves, our own inner voices and not to be drowned out by the voices of the world. We learn when to fight and when to retreat. We learn how to make a nourishing soup from the bitter bones of experience, and if we are very lucky, we learn that in each of us is a nugget of incorruptible gold, that NO ONE can ever tarnish or steal.
