Part of the ‘Cells’ series of works, Terms of Engagement is looking at the various ways in which we as human beings address the problem of the wayward ‘monkey mind’. A term that comes from Hindu and Buddhist teachings. The monkey mind is a mind that finds itself in a constant state of reactivity to the stimulus in its inner and outer environment. Screeching, fighting and utter chaos, the monkey mind can be quite problematic at times. So, how best to deal with it?
