I feel as if in our modern world, we are somehow made to feel defective and then rather conveniently we are offered the cure for this defectiveness in the form of latest shampoo, aftershave or face cream. A quick fix that doesn’t last.
I believe that it is a worthy endeavour to improve on character flaws, but this can’t be done with pills and potions, it takes courage and perseverance which are things that can’t be bought or sold, they can only be found internally and once found (because they are there) nurtured to fruition.
