Pippa Blake studied Fine Art (Painting) at Camberwell College of Art, London from 1972 to 1976 gaining BA Honours (First Class). In 2005 she graduated from the Visual Arts Programme, West Dean College, Sussex with a Postgraduate Diploma (Distinction). Blake has travelled the world extensively and serves as a founding Trustee for BLAKE an organisation in New Zealand inspiring environmental leadership.
Celia Cook graduated from the Royal College of Art, London, with an MA in Painting in 1989 following a first class degree, BA Hons in Fine Art Painting, from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design. Visiting Fellow in Painting, Winchester School of Art (University of Southampton) 1989-90. Winner of the presitigious 2020 Pollock-Krasner Foundation award. Vamp - a short piece of music for repeating and extemporisation.
Katharine Le Hardy studied Fine Art BA Hons at the University of the West of England, Bristol (2000-2003) and her awards include winner Society of Women Artists, 2019, Gilchrist Fisher Award (2007) and Royal Bath and West Scholarship (2007). Katharine’s latest body of work examines the ways in which landscapes can communicate a narrative and induce feelings of nostalgia and escapism in the viewer. Here, dramatic scenery is depicted with a tenderness and tranquility that transports us to a calm and thoughtful space.
Kerry Harding holds a BA in Fine Art from Ruskin School of Art, Oxford University (1991-94) and an MA in painting from Falmouth (2000-03). From 2014-21 she worked as a Tutor at St Ives School of Painting. There are characteristics that root Harding’s practice in Romanticism and it is notable that she cites both Caspar David Friedrich (German, 1774-1840) and Gerhard Richter (German, 1932- ) as major influences on her work.
